What plan are you on? I originally started on Extra Easy but I struggled with it and switched over to Green.

Why are you vegetarian? I became a 'veggie' when I was just ten years old, my Uncle told me how they killed the animals just as we were about to sit down to a lamb roast. Also I don't agree with the slaughter and transportation of the live animals.

Why Slimming World? I decided on SW because one of my best friends Char is a member of her local SW and when I went and visited her she mentioned about the group and we had an in-depth conversation about the plan and all it entails and it really appealed to me.

When is your weigh in day? I go to my local SW group every Tuesday to get weighed and attend group. 

Do you go on your own? Yes, I go to my group alone, however the girls and guy are so friendly and welcoming it's like I'm meeting up with friends.

Is it expensive? No not at all, your first meeting is £9.95 and every week after it is £4.95. Food bill wise I noticed I spent a lot more when I bought fresh vegetables, now I buy frozen veg it is much cheaper and lasts me a really long time. Also because I am not buying the junk food that saves me a lot of money!

Do you miss 'junk food' ? No! On SW you are allowed between 5-15 syns a day - you can use that on chocolate, crisps, what ever you fancy.

Are you hungry on the plan? Not in the slightest! I fill my plate with super free and free food, pasta potatoes which all fill me up. Yes you read that right, you can eat pasta and potatoes (as much as you like!)

Any advice? Stick to group, keep a food diary and be totally honest with it. If you gain weight one week do not let it get you down! Just stay motivated and determined!

In your pictures you don't look overly 'big' ?! When you are bigger like I am, you learn very quickly how to take a 'slimming' picture. You figure out your best sides and ways to make yourself appear smaller than what you are.  You will not see a full body shot picture of me (yet!)
